They recently segregated the dolphin feeding area, so now the dolphins know that anyone in this half of the pool has food, and they'll let you pet them.  They now also let you feed the rays.  The rays aren't bright enough to know when its feeding time, so they always let people pet them, hoping that you'll feed them.
